Further Details on Submitting Bug Reports

1. Subject line: Add ‘BUG’ at the beginning of the subject and include a brief description of it.

Bugs are top of our priority list and seeing it in the subject line makes it faster for the team to triage tickets and prioritize.

Example: BUG: error filtering articles

2. Description: Provide a detailed description of the bug and steps to reproduce it.

Being able to reproduce the bug helps the team in investigating what has caused the error.

Here is a brief checklist of what to include in the description:

• URL of the article or page where the bug occurred
• Actions/steps you performed that lead to the bug (buttons clicked, links clicked, queries copied, fields edited)
• Provide a brief explanation of your expected correct behavior

3. Provide screenshots:

Sending a screenshot in your bug report is necessary as it will help the developers get a visual of what’s happening on your end. Sometimes we may not be able to reproduce the bug, but would still occur on your end. So it is very beneficial for the development team to see what you see on your screen.
